Women, Race, and Leadership
in the Nonprofit
Social Justice Sector

BTV connects women of color (WOC) executive directors, organizational founders and changemakers to celebrate the ways they transform their environment with culturally informed leadership and vision for social, racial, and economic justice. BTV’s writing platform offers a creative community for WOC to reflect on leadership practices and grow as storytellers, orators, and authors.

BTV is a hub for WOC leaders to connect, write and publish stories about their unique avenues of leadership. By gathering, reflecting and creating in community, BTV honors WOC leaders’ monumental impacts on social justice and formalizes an avenue for current WOC leaders to offer their insights to future generations.
